Refund and cancellation policy

Last updated 30 August 2026.

The short version: if you have not used what you bought, you can have your money back within seven days. Once it has been used, that part is not refundable — but a payment that failed or was taken twice is always returned.

Getting your money back before you use it

You can undo a purchase and get a full refund within 7 days of buying it, provided it has not been used. “Not used” means:

Write to [email protected] with your order number and we will process it.

After it has been used

Once an event website is published, invitations have gone out, a stream has run, or credits have been spent, that purchase is not refundable. This is why: publishing sends your event to your guests, a sent message has been delivered and paid for at our end, and a stream has consumed the capacity that was reserved for it. None of those can be taken back.

Credits are counted individually, not as a pack. If you bought 500 SMS credits and have spent 40, the 460 unspent ones are still refundable within the 7-day window; the 40 are not.

Payments that went wrong

These are always put right, and the 7-day window does not apply to them:

Tell us as soon as you notice. Include the order number from your invoice; it is the fastest way to find the transaction.

If we end your access

If we suspend or close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we refund what you have paid for and not received. If we close it because these terms were broken, we do not.

How a refund is paid

Always back to the method you paid with — we cannot send it anywhere else. Once we approve a refund it is initiated the same working day. Your bank or card issuer then takes its own time, usually 5 to 7 working days, occasionally longer. GST already charged is refunded with the amount, and a credit note is issued against the original invoice.

There is nothing to cancel

We do not sell a subscription, so there is no subscription to cancel. Every plan is paid for once and runs for a fixed time — one event, or one year. We never store an authorisation to charge you again, and nothing renews on its own. When the time you paid for ends, it simply ends.

The only two things you can do to a plan you already hold are:

Neither of those takes anything away, and neither is needed to stop being charged, because you are not being charged again in the first place. There is no part-year refund for time remaining on a plan you have already started using.

What happens to your data

A refund does not delete anything immediately, and neither does a plan reaching the end of its time. Your event follows the timings in the terms — active period, grace period, then archive — and you are warned before anything is deleted, with a way to export it all first.

Questions and disputes

Write to [email protected]. If we cannot agree, the courts at Madurai have jurisdiction, as set out in the terms.
